We are inviting applications for the role of Chief People Officer: Full-time · Leadership role · Human Resources
Reports to: MD & CEO Location: Kolkata Qualification: MBA/PGDM
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

20-30 years of exposure in HR strategies, people management and conversant with HR best practices.
Sound knowledge of laws & statutory compliances.
Awareness of the industry and knowledge about organizational development techniques that suit the industry.
Hands-on experience of implementing HR Business partnering models for organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribution to development of organizational strategy.
Development and execution of HR strategy to support organization’s strategy.
Organization restructuring as per defined business expansion plans, market dynamics and standards of delivery expected on desired organizational objectives.
Prepare HR Budget including fixed & variable costs incurred on managing manpower and control variance and policy development in line with Industry best practices.
Drive measure like conducting job analysis, evaluation and develop compensations plans, manpower planning, benefit packages, rewards & recognition plans, Incentive schemes to attract talent. Ensuring all such plans are communicated across the organization at all levels.
Establish a system of Performance Management across organisation that measures performance and supports achievement of Business objectives; create guidelines and process for each stakeholder.
Foresee future talent requirements and ensure Training needs identification is done across levels. Include insights from appraisal reports, feedbacks & reviews.
Establish Leadership Development/ Assessment Centres & strategies to help grow high potential talent. Recommend and provide for tie-ups with premier institutes and external certifications for Executives in consultation with the Management.
Create a culture of enhanced internal customer satisfaction through continuous improvement in HR service delivery for employees.
Establish adherence of Compliances including Statutory benefits like PF, health & safety compliances, Service level Agreements (SLAs), etc.
Effective legal policy structure in place that prevents company against negligent hiring, terminations, discharge, layoffs, retrenchments, etc.
Constant engagement with the team to motivate, develop their personnel growth opportunities and understand grievances. Provide constructive solutions as necessary.
Facilitating healthy intra and inter departmental peer relationships in order to seamlessly achieve the BU and company revenue targets.
